I’m sure you noticed that I used the words “CHINA Cuisine” instead of “Chinese Cuisine”. It’s because this eatery caters to dishes from China which is different in taste though cooking style may be similar.

The outlet is called Shanghai Renjia Cafe, located at Jalan Keretapi (behind Bormill estate). When loosely transferred , it means “Shanghai People’s Family Cafe”. I quite like the setting of the place but I would not say the same about the food. Perhaps it is because I personally find China Cuisine less tasty when compared to our local Chinese Cuisines.

One unique fact about the “Xiao Loong Pau” or “Small Steam Bun” that we ordered is that it contains a lot of “juice” from the meat in the Pau. If you look at the picture below, you will notice that there’s a hole/outlet on top. The correct way to eat the Pau is to suck out the juice from the hole until dry. Then, you enjoy the rest.

Here’s my rating:

Atmosphere : 4 out of 5

Service : 2.5 out of 5
