I got a new cooking “toy”. It’s called the Thermomix. I’m sure many of you have heard of this food processor that has the capability to perform a host of functions like weigh, cut, chop, mix, mince, pulverize, grate, grind, mill, beat, blend, whip, whisk, knead, emulsify. That’s not all, Thermomix supposedly can also cook, steam, simmer, fry and wash itself. Dubbed as the world’s smallest and smartest kitchen, I will testify whether this gadget lives up to its’ claims in the next couple of months.
Why, you may ask, do I sound skeptical but yet bought it? Basically, it was the other half who bought it from a client of his, who was an active distributor. So, in a way, you can say I got lucky!
So far, I’ve only tried making ice blended coffee with it but I had forgotten to take a picture of the end product. Just a note to those trying out the recipes that comes with the Thermomix, I suggest you try half recipe as I found out the hard way that the ice blended coffee recipe was enough for 2-3 person. Ok, that’s all for now. Will be sharing more of my experiments with the gadget soon.
