Seeing that the New York Cheesecake recipe I used earlier was quite successful, I decided to modify it a little by adding melted choc chips to the cream cheese and marblelize (is there even such a word???) the surface so that I could turn it into a Marble Cheese Cake *grins*.

I underestimated the volume of the cream cheese due to the fact that I had made a thicker crust and used about 330g of cream cheese. Thus, resulting in my baking pan being filled to the brim. I was unable to stir the cream cheese for fear of overflow and only managed to create the marble effect on the surface using a toothpick and choc ganache. I had some cracks on the cake but it was less evident due to the marble design.
