This is a little late as mid-autumn festival was celebrated last week. Since I’m such a lover of mooncakes, I can’t help posting what we bought this year. We try to minimize the amount of mooncakes we consume due to health reasons *grins*. Anyway, this is a box consisting of baked and “ping pi” (snow skin) mooncakes made by one of our more famous local restaurant. The flavours are indicated on the stickers on each of the mooncake. Personally, my favourite is the plain lotus filling. Oh yes, I also collect the lovely boxes each year.

The Box

Sorry for the upside down snap shot. The stickers are easier to read this way. Coloured mooncakes are the snow skin ones.

For those who are not familiar with mooncakes, you can check out more information on Wikipedia.
