- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 130g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp oil (olive or cooking)
- 50g water
- Salt to taste
- Tomato puree - I cheated by using tomato sauce as my kids prefer it to tomato puree
- 150g pineapple, cut into small cubes
- 3 pieces of thinly sliced cocktail sausages
- 30 g chopped onions
- Black ground pepper to taste
- Mozarella cheese (as much as you need)

TOPPING

I’m not really a pizza person but if I had to choose, I’ll choose one with a taste of Asia. So, I guess it’s no wonder that my favourite would be the Hawaiian Chicken Pizza at Pizza Hut. I especially like the pineapple which is part of the ingredients. So, last weekend, I attempted to make a pizza and the result is close to what I had from Pizza Hut.
Method (using Thermomix)
- In the TM bowl, add water, yeast and salt. Stir at speed 2 for 20 seconds.
- Then add flour, salt and oil. Mix on speed 2-4 for 30 seconds.
- Then, knead for 2 minutes.
- Take dough out of TM bowl and roll into a round shape. Let it proof for 40 minutes in a bowl and cover with towel or cling wrap.
- Punch dough down. Roll into an round shape and flatten to fill the shape of your pizza tray. If you do not have a non stick pan, make sure you grease your pan with butter or margarine.
- Spread with tomato puree (or in my case, tomato sauce) on the dough and then followed by the rest of the toppings, with mozarella cheese last.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Let baked pizza cool for 5 minutes before serving.
