We girls had a fantastic shopping trip in Bangkok recently. Mind you, I was the only one who came back with 12kg of luggage whereas everyone checked in with 20kg each. While clothing can be very cheap, one must know how to choose those with better quality else, the shirts you buy might just shrink one size after washing.

It was my first time there so I tried out as many Thai food as I can. If you love food stalls, you have to visit the ones at Chatuchak. For those who have not been there, Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of the most famous weekend market for bargain hunters. There are more than 5,000 stalls at the market so be prepared to spend a couple of hours there.  Minus the heat, I can promise you that it will be worth the visit.

Here’s a look at some of the yummy food at Chatuchak.

Coconut Ice Cream

These are the various fried food, i.e. quail eggs, mussels, shrimps, etc. Unfortunately, I did not dare try them as I had a very bad cough at the time of traveling

And my all time favourite is Puff Stick, a kind of pastry filled with artificial  crabmeat stick and egg.
