Honey & milk favoured ice cream

I recently bought a litre of whip/heavy cream to make cheese cake but was bummed to discover that the cream can last for 14 days only after opening. So, I had about 800ml of cream to dispose of. I did not want the hassle of making another cake, so decided to whip up this super simple home made ice cream instead. No ice cream maker required since I did not have one anyway. It does not taste like Baskin-Robbins but it does taste good though. One point to note is it melts more easily than regular ice cream because of the whip cream but what’s best about this ice cream is, you know there are no preservatives thrown in.

Here goes the recipe:

  • 500gm whip/heavy cream
  • 300 gm milk
  • 50-80gm honey to taste (or any other flavour that you prefer)

Mix all of the ingredients together and pour into a freezer container. Freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight before serving. Now, how easy it that!

Note : You may also substitute sugar for honey.
